Hi! My name is Scott Martin. I graduated from Arizona State University in June with a degree in journalism. As a 30-something college student, I was saddened to learn that most of my classmates knew nothing about the legacies of Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan (which, to me, illustrate much of the conservative/liberal debate today). I started blogging to fix that, and added this as my main blog after graduation.

I am a freelance writer for Arizona's local political leader, The Capitol Times. In between my work there and dominating the online poker scene, I blog here.

I recently bought a condo here in Phoenix, where I live with my wife and 3-year old daughter, Carolyn Reagan Martin.
