There're people like Moore everywhere. As soon as they get obssessed with some political ideas, they start creating such stupid films or writing books of the same kind. but on the other hand, if there were no such "filmmakers", we wouldn't be able to appreciate good movies.

Ever wonder why there is such a big market for right wing extremist radio/TV ? Seems like it's very easy to excite the violent and hate filled masses with simple rhetoric. And yet, so many are willing to listen. hum?
The sad thing is that the figureheads from the right like Bill O'Reily and Rush Limbaugh know this. To them, ratings come first even if it means working people up to an unhealthy degree of fanaticism. Does anybody remember hate filled fanaticism? Nazi Germany perhaps?

The similiarities between Rush Limbaugh and Adolf Hitler are really scary!

Rush Limbaugh.....

is a racist
is a right wing extremist
is willing to do anything to satisfy his desire for power
has an uncanny ability to seduce the masses through hatemongering rhetoric
is a drug addict

And Rush has 20 million followers - Hitler had more - something to shoot for Rush!

AND Rush will do anything to get ratings - remember people - he wants that FOOTBALL TEAM!!

Michael Moore is an idiot, but so is Ariana Huffington. Anything that her muzepaper has printed in it is always to be sure pure unAmerican trash. I say that these two deserve each other. Liberal idiocy.

Lets see if I get this right. Moore uses capital (I assume belonging to him and others), makes a product (the documentary), and sells that product to the public (the ticket buying public) in order to make a return on the invested capital. The product he sells is a screed against capitalism and the left doesn't notice and swoons over his supposed anti-capitalism. Who is fooling who? Boy am I confused.

I went to the effort of reading the original screed by Siegel, over at the reliably-leftist and often-amusingly-idiotic Huff'N'Puff Post - and was moved to leave the following commentary:

Having read this entire piece, I feel fully justified in stating what is so clearly obvious: Dan Siegel is just as much a lefty socialist-minded moron and an even more empty-headed wishful "thinker" than Mickey Moore-On, The Fat Fake From Flint himself.

What a total ton of tripe! Go back to writing books nobody reads, Danny-boy. Better yet, try some other form of occupation - writing isn't working out for you.

Of course, I fully expect to a) have my comment deleted and/or b) be blocked or banned from making further comments on Huff'N'Puff...

My family during the late '30's lived on a farm, got our coal from RR tracks. It was about "39 before I was amazed to learn that trucks delivered it to your basement when we moved into town. I can still see the fireman shoveling off a big shovelful of coal from the cab of an engine for us. Dad died January of '43 and man, we didn't know the depression was over until about "44 when my mother got a job in the steel mill. (she was a Rosy the Riveter only in a steel mill)I'll take Reagan any day. Dad couldn't stand FDR. Said Eleanor was twice as smart.

Sure, we had it pretty good after Regan but do you think for a second that we as individuals can do as good a job of managing our lives and money as the government? Think about how much easier it will be when all we do is hand over all the money we make to the agencies who will graciously give us back what we need to exist.

Personal initiative and entrepreneurial spirit will sky rocket once we realize that no matter how much we produce, everyone will get our fair share. We will have to build more colleges once people realize that sweeping floors at IHOP will pay the same as a brain surgeon. Who wouldn't want to put in the extra ten years of education knowing that it all pays the same?

Funny how a true capitalist pig, Moore, is preying off the brainwashed sheep who buy into the Utopian Society model, making millions in the process. What a country!
