That is a horrible thing to have happened and I hope he recovers soon.

But I heard saying once, a conservative is a liberal that has been mugged. So maybe a new conservative a born. For every tragedy we should try to learn important lessons. That way our pain is not for naught. Maybe the lesson in this case, liberal, feel good policies on crime just don't work. I hope they catch the guy that did this to him!

In any case, this young man will be in my prayers and I hope he will be able to have the surgery to retain his eye sight. May he find God now in his hour of need.
