Yeah... up 3%. Yet all I kept reading about in the news friday was how doom and gloom it was all going to be. I put up an article about this at my site on Saturday telling of my personal experience with the day.

While I think it is great sales is up, so are the deaths from last year. Last year, if I remember correctly a pregnant woman got trampled and I believe they both died. This year three men died (one trample, two gunshots) and another pregnant woman was injured but recovering. Seems like Black Friday has been aptly named.

Boy I don't know why people don't wait until Dec 24 like a normal person. LOL. That is when you are at your most inspired anyway. Have a great and very blessed Christmas season.
