UPDATE: Here' s the unedited version. Apparently, they took out everything that would make her look good.
Alright, I'm on Pacific time so I got this a little later than most of you. I already posted on what had to be either dishonesty or poor journalism on the part of Charlie Gibson. After watching it, I'm still struggling to figure out which it is. I just finished J-School, and it's not a mistake I would make.
I thought she performed very well, much better than Gibson. What a condescending ass! And the Bush Doctrine question? The Bush Doctrine is an inside the beltway, media coined term. 95% of America couldn't tell you what the Bush Doctrine is.
She was excellent turning his national security experience into a highlight of what she has accomplished regarding energy. As if Barack Obama has any experience in foreign policy. And he's their Number One.
She showed more knowledge on Russia than Barack Obama did. No stuttering, no stammering, no uhhhs. And she's been working on this for a week.
That had to be the worst editing job I've ever seen by a major media organization. But I'm more interested in your responses. I've seen responses much more ho-hum than mine by people I usually agree with, and I'm not getting it.
What do you think?
UPDATE: Here's a portion of the interview, including what was clearly the worst part for Palin, the Bush Doctrine question.
UPDATE: I hear Governor Palin is already studying up on the number one most important issue of this election season:
UPDATE: The derangement I'm seeing from Obama supporters (most of whom make sure to pretend that they've voted Republican in the past) in the comment section is hilarious. If only these people were more concerned about their own candidate for President, easily the most unqualified candidate for any portion of the ticket in the last 100 years.
