Republican after Republican tried to fix this, and Dem after Dem said there was no problem, race-baited, and praised the scumbag Franklin Raines.
Reknowned socialist dupe, Democrat Maxine Waters gets my award for most in-Fannie-and-Freddie's-pockets comment for this: "Through nearly a dozen hearings, we were frankly trying to fix something that wasn’t broke. Mr. Chairman, we do not have a crisis at Freddie Mac, and particularly at Fannie Mae, under the outstanding leadership of Franklin Raines."
Could you be more wrong about more things in two sentences than the Widdow Waters? The American people really think putting this party in control of all three branches of government is a good idea?
Remember the Carter years? You'll be getting reacquainted with them real soon if this keeps up. We get what we deserve when the majority of people can watch a debate like what we saw last week and conclude that Barack Obama was the winner. I don't know what happened to the common sense of the American people, but it needs to be rediscovered before November.
